McAlester Leadership 2024 Class Project: Ryan’s House

Ryan’s House is a child advocacy center that provides a coordinated and child-friendly approach to the investigation, intervention, and support for children who have experienced abuse. The center facilitated more than 250 cases last year and is already on pace to double that this year. Ryan’s House relies heavily on donations, volunteers and community partners to help limit the stress and trauma these children face. Leadership McAlester 2023-2024 is working to raise $5,515 toward renovations and other needs including:

• soundproofing and equipment for one interview room 
• two security doors
• paint as needed
• landscaping to make the front of the building less intimidating for children
• swing set for families and children waiting during the process
• any donations of food, clothing, funding, etc.
